A great spot to see Mt. Fuji and the lake on the shores of Lake Kawaguchi. The seasonal flowers and the beautiful inverted Mt. Fuji make it a great place for taking photos. There are also plenty of stylish cafes and shops!
Kawaguchiko Oishi Park is a park located on the north shore of Lake Kawaguchiko, Fujikawaguchiko Town, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi Prefecture. It is in a great location where you can see the majestic Mt. Fuji and the beautiful Lake Kawaguchi at the same time, and is especially known for the beautiful view of the "inverted Fuji" reflected on the lake surface. The park has a 350m promenade called "Flower Highway" where flowers bloom in every season, and the colorful scenery attracts visitors and is a popular spot for photography enthusiasts.

The greatest attraction of this park is the beauty of its picturesque scenery and the fact that you can enjoy Mt. Fuji and flowers together. Different flowers bloom in each season, such as tulips and rape blossoms in spring, lavender in early summer, and kochia and autumn leaves in autumn, creating a spectacular view with Mt. Fuji in the background. In particular, the contrast between the lavender, which is at its best from late June to mid-July, and Mt. Fuji attracts many tourists. The promenade along the lakeside is also perfect for a stroll.

Kawaguchiko Oishi Park is not just a place to enjoy the scenery, but also has the "Blueberry Village Kawaguchiko Natural Living Center" where you can enjoy local specialties and souvenirs, as well as a cafe and souvenir shop. It is a fulfilling spot where you can enjoy the beautiful nature of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi while also experiencing something unique to Yamanashi. If you are visiting Mt. Fuji, be sure to visit this beautiful park and experience the unforgettable scenery.

Fuji Oishi Hana Terrace, which opened in 2017, is a stylish and cute complex of flowers and food that spreads out in the Oishi district on the shores of Lake Kawaguchi. While strolling through the gardens where flowers bloom in every season, you can enjoy cafe menus and sweets made with local vegetables on the terrace seats overlooking Mt. Fuji. The shop has a wide selection of crafts with Mt. Fuji motifs, local sake, and souvenirs, making it a relaxing spot to spend some time between sightseeing.

[Hidden gem]
At Oishi Park, from early December to late January when the lavender is in full bloom, an illumination event called Niagara of Light is held. A 280m long, 3m high waterfall of light shines over the lavender fields, creating a fantastical landscape.
