The park is dotted with observation decks, decks overlooking dolines (karst depressions), the baseball-field-sized lawn known as "Nobinobi Hiroba," and large playground equipment like roller slides and tunnels. Many free play areas make it a great place for families to relax. The park also features the Hiraodai Terrace café and a local product shop, making it a great place to stroll and relax.

For hands-on visitors, there are plenty of activities, including pottery, woodworking, and soba noodle-making classes, park golf, grass sledding, and the "Kita Poppo" tour around the park, which operates on weekends and holidays. Hiraodai Athle, a paid area with 50 playground equipment covering approximately 10,000 square meters, offers spectacular views of the grassy slopes. Seasonal events, such as early morning and evening dog runs, are held in the summer.
