Tatsuno City's "Mitsu Roadside Station" is located in a great location with a beautiful view of the Seto Inland Sea. It is a popular tourist spot in western Hyogo Prefecture, where you can enjoy a wide variety of fresh seafood, locally grown vegetables, and specialty products, as well as restaurants and BBQs.
Roadside Station Mitsu is located along National Route 250, "Harima Seaside Road," and its greatest attraction is the magnificent view of the Harima Nada Sea that spreads out before you. Inside the facility, there is the "Toretore Direct Sales Store/Produce Direct Sales Store," which sells fresh seafood just landed at the local Murotsu Port, as well as seasonal vegetables and fruits harvested in Tatsuno City. In particular, the specialty "Murotsu oysters" are sold in winter, and you can enjoy an all-you-can-eat oyster BBQ. The fresh ingredients delivered directly from local fishermen and farmers every morning attract many repeat visitors.

There is a free observation terrace on the rooftop, where you can take a break while looking at the panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea. At the restaurant "Uonaya," you can taste seafood dishes made with fresh local seafood, and the seaside BBQ space where you can feel the sea breeze while eating is also popular. This roadside station is not only a place to stop by for a break from driving, but also a place where you can enjoy the local seasonal flavors and beautiful scenery.

The exterior is a beautiful concrete building. The rooftop is an observation space with a view of the Seto Inland Sea.

[Hidden gem information]
About a 5-minute drive from the Mitsu roadside station is Shinmaiko Beach, one of the best shallow beaches in the Kansai region. When the tide goes out, the tidal flats appear 500m offshore, and you can enjoy clam digging (for a fee). In addition, at the nearby Murotsu Folk Museum, you can experience the history and culture of Murotsu, a port town that flourished during the Edo period.
