Founded in 1948, Kobe Nishimura Coffee's Nakayamate Main Branch is a renowned in-house roasting coffee shop that opened in Kobe shortly after the war.

Their coffee is delivered daily with Miyamizu, the famous water that nurtures Nada's sake. The beans are roasted within six days and served in a cloth filter bag. Hot coffee is brewed within 30 minutes, and iced coffee is brewed within 60 minutes, ensuring the best aroma and richness are captured. In addition to their signature original blend, they also offer a wide selection of straight coffees from various regions, including Blue Mountain No. 1 and Mandheling. The main branch's signature style is pairing their coffee with classic desserts, such as homemade pudding and seasonal pancakes (not available in summer).

The current building, which retains its North German-style timber-framed design, was renovated and reopened in 2006. There are 72 seats on the first floor, 46 on the second and third floors, for a total of 164 seats, with the third floor offering ample space for large groups. The seating area features a subdued wood design, and the tableware is carefully selected.

Located between Tor Road and Hunter Slope, the hotel's appeal lies in its location, allowing you to blend into "everyday Kobe" while walking around the city. It is within walking distance of Sannomiya and is also easy to walk to Kitano Ijinkan and Ikuta Shrine, making it a reliable base for "morning, lunch, and rest" when sightseeing in Kobe.
