The Future Center for People and Disaster Prevention consists of two buildings. One is the ``West Building,'' which has exhibits on the history of earthquake disasters and disaster prevention and mitigation, and the other is the ``East Building,'' an experiential disaster prevention facility.

In the West Building, visitors can learn about the nature of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake through videos that recreate the moment of the earthquake and exhibits related to the earthquake provided by disaster victims. You can also learn about future preparations through exhibits on disaster prevention and mitigation.

The East Building has a variety of hands-on disaster prevention facilities, including an earthquake experience corner and an evacuation training simulator. You can learn about the importance of disaster prevention and mitigation while experiencing disasters such as earthquakes and fires up close.
