This is a temple built in the middle of the Edo period, located in the center of the Takehara Townscape Preservation District.
Fumeikaku itself was rebuilt during the Edo period, and its architectural style and structure are also one of the attractions. The temple grounds are dotted with historical buildings such as the main hall and bell tower, and you can enjoy a quiet stroll in a solemn atmosphere.

From the temple, you can see the whole of Takehara town and the islands of the Seto Inland Sea.

This view is one of the highlights of sightseeing in Takehara, and many tourists take photos of it. It is especially good to visit at sunset, as the townscape is dyed orange, creating a fantastic atmosphere.
