Roadside Station Aristo Numakuma in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture is a tourist hub rich in nature, where fresh seafood and bountiful mountain produce from the Seto Inland Sea are gathered.
Roadside Station Aristo Numakuma is located in Numakuma-cho, Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture, and is characterized by its location facing the Seto Inland Sea. The "Jiyu Ichiba" direct sales store within the facility sells a wide variety of fresh fish from the Seto Inland Sea, procured through the local fishing cooperative, as well as vegetables, fruits, and flowers from local farmers. The fish are particularly fresh, and staff will teach you how to eat them, so you can purchase fish species you've never tried before with peace of mind. In addition, at the "Fish Packing" event held according to the season, you can have fun filling your bag with healthy fish.

The "Herb Garden" on the premises mainly sells herb and flower seedlings. From April to June, there are more than 100 types of herb seedlings, and staff members will give you direct advice on how to grow and use them. Rather than a large-scale garden with blooming herbs, it is operated as a seedling sales corner that sells seedlings and goods for home use, so even beginners can easily enjoy gardening.

There are two restaurants in the roadside station: Restaurant TOCO² and Soba Restaurant Numakuma.

・Restaurant TOCO²
The restaurant serves dishes that make use of fresh seafood and local vegetables from the Seto Inland Sea. Typical dishes include fried chicken and seafood bowls made with herbs. The cafe space also serves light meals and drinks, and the terrace seats offer views of the Seto Inland Sea.

・Soba Restaurant Numakuma
The restaurant serves hand-made soba noodles made with locally grown buckwheat flour at reasonable prices. In addition to simple Zaru soba and hot Kake soba noodles, seasonal menus are also available. The soba broth is made with local dashi, providing a rich flavor.

[Hidden Spot Information]
A few minutes by car from the roadside station is the nationally designated historic site, Tonoishi Shell Mound.
