It is a park where you can see the ships and submarines of the Self-Defense Forces. Even though it's called a park, it's just long and narrow along the road.
It's quite rare to see a submarine, so if you're visiting the Yamato Museum, be sure to check it out as well. Yamato Museum is about 10 minutes by car.

The parking lot is located about 250m up the mountain side.
