It is not flashy, but it boasts freshly made, boiled, chewy homemade noodles and flavorful broth carefully made from kelp and bonito flakes. It has a full menu of standard dishes, including the simple yet deeply flavored kake udon, as well as meat udon, kitsune udon, and zaru udon. At lunchtime, the restaurant is bustling with locals, and its deliciousness has earned it a reputation.

It is not as chewy as Sanuki udon, but has just the right firmness. It has a wide range of toppings, including kakiage.
