This is a science museum located in Himeji City with the theme of "Earth, local nature, science, and space." In addition to permanent exhibitions, there is also a planetarium.
The "Science" floor on the 3rd floor is especially recommended for lower grades of elementary school, as you can experience moving various devices.

On the adjacent site is the Hoshi no Kokan designed by Tadao Ando. Hoshi no Kokan is a children's facility, but you can also stay overnight.

For lunch, the restaurant ``Hoshinokokan'' located on the nearby grounds offers a variety of options, and we especially recommend the set meals.
