Nishinomiya Shrine is a shrine that enshrines Ebisu Okami (Ebisu no Mikoto) located in Shake-cho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture. It is the headquarters of approximately 3,500 Ebisu shrines nationwide.
At Nishinomiya Shrine, the fishermen of Nishinomiya and Naruo enshrined a statue of a deity that emerged from the waters of Wadamisaki, Kobe, in Osaka Bay, known as the Chinu Sea in ancient times. It is said that the shrine was moved west from there to Nishinomiya, where it was enshrined.

Nishinomiya Shrine is worshiped as the god of prosperous business, and many worshipers from all over the country visit the shrine for the first Ebisu event, Toka Ebisu, held on the 10th of the New Year every year.

In the precincts of Nishinomiya Shrine, there are more than 100 sub-shrines and sub-shrines, including the main hall of Sanren Kasuga-zukuri. In addition, the Ebisu Forest behind the main shrine is designated as a natural monument by Hyogo Prefecture.

Nishinomiya Shrine is a charming shrine where you can experience history and tradition. It is a recommended spot not only for those who wish for prosperous business, but also for those who are interested in history and culture.
