Arashiyama Station Kimono Forest is a 2013 art installation based on kimono patterns located at Arashiyama Station in Kyoto.
This is a work that expresses Kyo Yuzen, a traditional Japanese craft, as a modern art. The Kyo Yuzen used for the poles is made by the Kamedatomi Dyeing Factory, and there are about 600 pieces lined up in 15 different colors in a total of 15 different patterns.

The Kimono Forest is lit up after sunset, giving it a dreamlike, dream-like view and is also a popular Instagram spot.
