Ozu Castle

Ozu Castle is located in Ozu, Ehime Prefecture.
After the Meiji Restoration, Ozu Castle was abandoned and the castle tower was demolished, but the castle tower was faithfully restored using wood in 2004.

Ozu Castle's castle tower is Japan's first postwar restored wooden castle tower, and is designated as a national important cultural property. Also, from the castle tower, you can see the flow of the Hijikawa River and the scenery of the castle town.

Parking is available at the Civic Center parking lot (free of charge).
