Located deep in the mountains of Chichibu, this is one of the Kanto region's leading power spots. It is popular because it is guarded by a wolf, not a lion dog, as a divine messenger and is said to bestow powerful "energy."
Mitsumine Shrine is a historic shrine that is said to have been founded about 1900 years ago and is located on Mount Mitsumine, which is about 1,100 meters above sea level in Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture. It is said to have begun when Emperor Yamato Takeru enshrined a deity here during his eastern expedition, and its mysterious atmosphere and environment surrounded by rich nature attract many worshippers. It is also famous as one of the Kanto region's leading power spots.

The most distinctive feature of this shrine is that it uses wolves, not lion-dogs, as messengers of the gods. There are various wolf statues enshrined in the precincts, and they have long been worshiped as beings that exterminate pests that destroy crops and protect people's lives. In particular, it is said to bring benefits such as safety in the home, prevention of theft, and prevention of fire.

It is also known as a power spot where you can receive "ki" from the sacred tree, as well as the legend that a dragon god will appear if you pour water on the stone pavement in front of the worship hall. In addition, a unique belief called "Gokenzokuhaishaku" is practiced, in which a wolf is invited into one's home for a year to protect oneself from disasters. Because it is located deep in the mountains far from the city center, it takes time to get there, but it makes up for it by offering a special experience away from everyday life.
