Founded in 1994, we were the first to produce wine using wild grapes in Okayama Prefecture.

Wild grapes are unique to Japan and not found in Europe.

At Hiruzen Winery, we use techniques such as low-temperature fermentation and barrel aging to produce a variety of wines in order to maximize the appeal of wild grapes.

Typical wines are 100% mountain grapes “Yamabudo red wine” and “Yamabudo rosé wine”.

We also sell processed products such as juice made from wild grape juice and jam made from wild grapes.

Hiruzen Winery is a popular tourist spot surrounded by the rich nature of the Hiruzen Plateau.

In addition to winery tours and tastings, there are also restaurants and cafes, so you can fully enjoy the charm of Hiruzen Kogen.
