The Chofu Mori Residence is a mansion of the Mori family that was completed in Meiji 36 (1903). It is located in Chofu, a castle town in Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan.
The stone walls of the Chofu Mori Residence resemble those of a castle.

Chofu Castle Town has a rich history, thriving as the castle town of the Mori family during the Edo period. In addition to the old Mori residence, there are many charming structures, such as the Sugatani Nagaya Gate and the Naito family's Nagaya Gate. However, many of the buildings behind these walls are now ordinary residential houses.
