It is a roadside station located on Route 32, which runs towards Hagi from Yamaguchi city via National Route 262.

In addition to fresh vegetables and fruits, there are historical sites and the Matsukage Memorial Hall. When traveling from Akiyoshidai to Hagi, it is common to take Route 32 from the middle of Route 490, as Route 490 is a narrow single lane with many sharp curves.
