It is a huge concrete Buddha with a height of 18.79m in Shurakuen Park in Tokai City.

It seems that it was created for the purpose of sightseeing, not the Great Buddha as a religion.
The design imitates the Kamakura Daibutsu, and imitates the figure holding lotus flowers on both palms, which is a characteristic of the Kamakura Daibutsu.

Shurakuen also has facilities such as a hot bath and a pool in the Health Fureai Koryukan.
