The San'in Coast Geopark Sea and Earth Nature Museum is a prefectural learning facility located in Iwami Town, Iwami District, Tottori Prefecture, that introduces the attractions of the San'in Coast Geopark.
In this museum, you can learn about the origins of the San'in Coast Geopark, its precious topographical and geological heritage, and the rich nature and ecosystem that are cultivated there through various materials and videos. The exhibits are diverse, and you can learn in depth about the dynamic workings of the earth since the time when the Japanese archipelago was part of the Asian continent, the process of the formation of the Sea of ​​Japan, and the distinctive topography such as the Tottori Sand Dunes and Uradome Coast.
