This is a zoo located in Hino City, Tokyo.
The site is wider than Ueno Zoo, and there is also a safari-style lion bus. (Suspended as of 2016)
A feature of Tama Zoological Park is that the animals are kept in a rich natural environment. Animals from various regions live in the vast garden, such as the Asian Garden, African Garden, Australian Garden, and Costa Rica Garden. There are also many enclosures where animals can roam freely, allowing you to see them as they would in the wild.

Admission is free on Greenery Day (May 4th), Park Opening Day (May 5th), and Citizens' Day (October 1st).

It's right next to Tama Dobutsukoen Station on the Tama Monorail.
