The mountain climbing season is open from July 10th to September 10th. Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays are very crowded.
There are four route entrances. Each has its own characteristics, including climbing times.
You can drive up to the 5th station, but there are restrictions on private cars except for the Gotemba route. However, the Gotemba route is long.

The fifth station is 1,440m above sea level.
