A landmark of Nagoya Port Garden Pier, it features a sailing ship-like observation deck and the Nagoya Maritime Museum on the 3rd and 4th floors, where you can learn about the ship's history through models and simulators.
Nagoya Port Building is a popular spot where you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the harbor from about 53 meters above ground from the observation deck on the 7th floor, the top floor. On clear days, you can see as far as the skyscrapers in the Nagoya Station area and the Suzuka Mountains, and in the summer, they even offer extended hours for night views.

Nagoya Maritime Museum isn't flashy, but it's quite popular with elementary school students, as you can try out things like a ship steering simulator and a port crane simulator.

If you visit the adjacent Antarctic research vessel Fuji, the Port of Nagoya Aquarium, and Sea Train Land, you can spend a half to full day learning, playing, and enjoying the spectacular harbor views.

If you have time, we recommend purchasing a 4-facility passport ticket that combines the aquarium and the museum.
