The Takashimizu Trail is a trekking course with a total length of approximately 8.7 km that follows the prefectural border between Kagamino Town, Okayama Prefecture, and Misasa Town, Tottori Prefecture, along a ridge.
The course starts from Ningyo Pass at an altitude of 735m, passes through the Takashimizu Plateau at an altitude of 950m, Mt. Hakushu at an altitude of 1,044m, and ends at Akawase at an altitude of 735m.

There are few ups and downs, so even beginners can easily enjoy hiking.

There are many attractions on the course, including the observation deck at Takashimizu Plateau and the view of the Chugoku Mountains from the summit of Mt. Hakushu.

There is a Takashimizu Trail Akawase parking lot in Kagamino-cho, Okayama Prefecture.

Near the parking lot is the popular rural restaurant "Ippuku-tei."
