Ogijima is an island with an area of 1.34 km² floating in Bisan Seto in the central Seto Inland Sea. There is little flat land, and the village has a maze-like maze of slopes and stone steps, making it a unique landscape.
In recent years, the island has become the site of events such as the Setouchi Triennale, and with art scattered throughout the island, it is popular with young people.

Tourist attractions on Ogijima include the Observatory, Tank Rock, Ogijima Lighthouse, and the artworks "Walking Ark" and "Soul of Ogijima."

Ogijima Lighthouse is about 2km from the port, about a 30-minute walk. It's a great way to explore the island while taking a leisurely stroll.

Renovated old houses house the stylish cafe Damonte & Co., as well as "Dorima no Ue" and "Ogijima Library."

The island's set meal restaurant is called Madoka.
