The castle town of Izushi is known as Tajima's Little Kyoto, and has become a tourist spot with its old townscape.

Izushi Castle Town is characterized by its elegant townscape, with merchant houses and townhouses of the time lined up in a grid pattern. In addition, the castle town has a lot of gourmet foods and handicrafts unique to Izushi, such as Izushi soba and Izushi ware.

Izushi soba, which is served on five plates like wariko soba, is famous.
