Yama no yam manju are simple, soft and delicious buns. Although they are not widely available, they have many fans among the locals of Miyoshi.
Their signature product, "Yama no Imo Manju," is a thin dough made from chewy high-grade flour mixed with only mountain yam, wrapped in a smooth bean paste made from Hokkaido-grown red beans, and steamed. It has a moist texture and a refined sweetness.

The ingredients are very simple, with no additives, which is very appealing.

The expiration date is about four days.

Sugar, red beans (from Hokkaido), mountain yam (domestic), rice flour (domestic)

In addition to Yama no Imo Manju, they also have the local confectionery "Yokiyadori," a fragrant dough made with hattai flour, wrapped in white bean paste with chestnut grains, and the refreshing bite-sized sweets "Yuzu Mochi" and "Yuzu Yokan," made with a yuzu paste with a moderate sourness wrapped in mochi dough. Their cream puffs with creamy cream and crispy dough are also popular.

[Useful points to note]
Yama no yam manju can sell out quickly on weekends, so you can reserve some for them by calling in advance.
