Tarmary is a bakery and brewery promoting the culture of fermentation using wild yeast. Currently, they serve wild yeast beer, pizza, sandwiches, and more, all from a cafe, shop, and hotel that can be rented out to one guest per day. Located along the streets of Chizu-juku, the shop is conveniently located for a stroll through the old town.

The shop sells bottled beer brewed exclusively with wild yeast. Take a break at a window seat and enjoy the time that befits a post town. The Ishitani Family Residence (a nationally designated important cultural property) and other surrounding cultural facilities are within walking distance.

[Useful Concerns]
- There is no parking adjacent to the store. Avoid parking on the road and use the free "Chizu-juku Ishitani Family Parking Lot."
- Bread sales are suspended until summer 2025. Please check depending on the purpose of your visit.
- There is a long period of closure during the winter. Please check the business calendar especially from the end of the year to February.
