This noodle factory, which has been in business for over 70 years, opens its doors to dine-in customers for just one hour at lunchtime. Its specialty is "factory-direct meals," where customers can enjoy freshly made noodles in their preferred style, such as with soy sauce, dashi, or kamatama (rice balls). After informing the staff at the counter of the number of noodles and how they'd like to be served, customers are given a bowl to top with their own toppings, including green onions, ginger, and tempura scraps. The noodles' springiness and firmness have earned them a reputation as some of the best in Kagawa Prefecture, making them a special addition to your gourmet food tour of Kagawa.

We recommend the classic style of pairing plain udon with table-top dashi and soy sauce, or the more sophisticated style of adding a touch of chili pepper or dashi to the kamatama.
