Tofu-ya Ukawa continues to make tofu using traditional methods. They grind soybeans in a stone mill, slowly simmer them, and then harden them by hand, allowing you to enjoy the tofu's original flavor and texture.

The shop offers a wide selection of freshly made tofu varieties every morning, including firm, silken, and oboro, as well as thick, juicy hand-aged tofu, inari, and meat tofu. They carefully select the concentration of soy milk and the water used, using nanobubble water throughout the entire process to bring out the sweetness of the beans. Their signature "Cho Tokusen" series, which won double gold medals at the 2018 National Tofu Competition in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions, is also a highlight.
