Hime no Soba Yukari-an is located in the office of Inada Shrine, which enshrines Kushinadahime, the wife of Susanoo no Mikoto, who is known for slaying Yamata no Orochi. The soba served here is "Yokota Ko Soba," a native variety that has been cultivated in Okuizumo Town since ancient times. The grains are small because they have not been improved, but the original sweetness and rich flavor of buckwheat are concentrated, making it known as "phantom soba."
