This popular restaurant serves ramen made with the bounty of the sea off the Oki Islands of Shimane Prefecture. The main menu items are the "Kanryu Ramen," based on flying fish (ago) broth, and the "Danryu Ramen," which is made with the umami of shellfish. Both soups bring out the flavor of seafood to the fullest, and are light yet rich in flavor, making them unique and different from the typical pork bone or chicken bone based ramen.

The "Kanryu Ramen" in particular has a great visual impact, as it is topped with a whole dried flying fish. The umami of the flying fish that dissolves in the soup creates an even more flavorful bowl. The "Danryu Ramen" is rich, but also has a gentle sweetness of shellfish, making it so delicious that you can drink it all down. The noodles are thin and straight, and go well with the soup.
