A local delicacy born in Hinase is kakioko, an okonomiyaki filled with plenty of oysters. Among the many kakioko shops, Hinase Kakioko Umauma is a popular shop that has gained tremendous support from local foodies and tourists alike. The kakioko, which is grilled on a hot plate in the shop, is crispy on the outside and fluffy and soft on the inside, and the sweet and rich oyster flavor fills your mouth, making it an unforgettable taste once you have tried it.
