Kamimoriyama Observatory is located at the summit of Mount Kamimoriyama (314m), the highest peak of Nagashima Island, overlooking the Kaminoseki Strait. If you climb the spiral staircase of the white lighthouse-shaped structure, you can see the beauty of the Seto Inland Sea's many islands. On a clear day, you can see as far as Sada Misaki in Shikoku and the Kunisaki Peninsula in Oita, making it a great photo spot.

From mid-February to mid-March, many daffodils bloom.

The road is narrow, so be careful when passing other cars. The parking lot is also small.

Along the way, you will find the Okunoin Kannon Temple.
The nearby Nakanoura Beach is a popular swimming beach with very clear water. It also has a free campsite.
