In autumn, the Sengokuhara Susuki Grassland is covered with pampas grass over a large area, creating a landscape that looks like a golden carpet. At dusk, you can enjoy a fantastic scenery along with the setting sun.

Sengokuhara has plenty of hiking trails, so you can walk while feeling the nature. Depending on the course, there are points where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the mountains of Hakone.

From mid-March to late March, there is a mountain burning event where pampas grass is burned.
