Takachiho Gorge is a gorge in Miyazaki Prefecture where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the rock walls and waterfalls of the Gokase River.

Takachiho Gorge is a gorge that was formed by the pyroclastic flow emitted by the eruption of Aso Volcano, which eroded over many years. The cliffs, which reach heights of 80 to 100 meters, stretch for 7 km, and the impressive scenery is one of Kyushu's most representative tourist spots.
