In 1584, it was rebuilt by Junkei Tsutsui as the main castle of Koriyama Castle. It is said that at this time, a castle tower was built in the main enclosure.

During the Edo period, it was used as the domain office of the Takatori domain. In the Meiji period, the castle was abandoned, and the stone walls and castle tower were demolished.

Most of what remains is stone walls, but it is a beautiful castle ruin with a feeling of the sky.

There are about 4 parking lots, but the space is narrow and the road is narrow.
