This is a mystical 3km long valley deep in the mountains of Kawai, Shinshiro City.
Near the top of the mountain, there is a natural stone gate called Tsutenmon with a spectacular view.

The limestone contained in the tuff dissolves out of the limestone gorge to form breast-shaped stalactites on the ceiling, which is the origin of the limestone. Many Kannon statues are enshrined in the limestone caves, and there is a natural stone gate called Tsutenmon near the summit that overwhelms the viewer.

Chuiwa Gorge is a popular tourist spot where you can enjoy hiking, playing in the river, camping, and more. Touring the Milk Rock Cave is free, but if you wish to climb a mountain or swim in the river, you will need to pay an entry fee.
