Kamo no Okusu is a large camphor tree that is about 1,000 years old in Higashimiyoshi Town, Tokushima Prefecture.
The tree is estimated to be approximately 1,000 years old, and is one of the largest trees in Tokushima Prefecture, with a height of 26 m, trunk circumference of 16.72 m, and branching length of 52 m from east to west and 42 m from north to south.

Its branches spread evenly in all directions, giving it a beautiful tree shape. The huge trees, which resemble a forest, overwhelm visitors.

It is said that Kamo's large Kusu has been around since the Genpei period, and has been loved by people since ancient times. Rai Sanyo, a literary figure in the Edo period, is said to have praised Kamo's large camphor tree as 'the world's most famous tree'.

Free parking is available on the north side.
