It is a valley in the upper reaches of the Yoshino River.

It is located along National Route 313 heading from Miyoshi City to Kochi City.
There is Lapis Oboke roadside station nearby.

There is an observatory and a promenade, but the pleasure boat that allows you to see the rock walls up close is popular.
The pleasure boat departs from Oboke Gorge Mannaka. Sightseeing time round trip is 30 minutes.
