In a castle town that flourished in Bitchu Matsuyama during the Edo period, the samurai residences of the former Orii and Hanihara families are open to the public for a fee.
The outer wall of the street is tasteful, but the building inside is a typical residential building.

Nearby is Raikyuji Temple Garden, which is famous for its dry landscape garden.

The sightseeing parking lot is not as organized as the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, but here and there you can find old castle town buildings and reconstructed buildings.

Free parking is on the north side of the street.
