The guardian deity of Tamatsukuri Onsen. It is famous for the "Wish Stone" that grants wishes, and it is a popular power spot among women, as it is said that touching it will bring good luck, good relationships, and beautiful skin.
Tamazukuriyu Shrine is an ancient shrine that has long been worshiped as the guardian deity of Tamazukuri Onsen, known for its skin-beautifying hot springs. It enshrines the gods of jelly-making and hot springs, and its history is so long that it is even mentioned in the Izumo Fudoki. It sits quietly in a secluded area of the hot spring town, surrounded by a pure atmosphere.

The greatest attraction of this shrine is the huge "Wish Stone" that sits behind the main shrine building, and the unique way of worshiping associated with it. First, you are given a "Kanai Stone" (600 yen per set) at the shrine office, located next to the chozuya (purification fountain) in the precincts, and then you wash and purify it with pure sacred water.

It is said that if you touch the purified "Kanai Stone" directly to the "Wish Stone," recite your wish in your mind, and take the stone home and treasure it as a talisman, your wish will come true. It is a power spot that is particularly said to bring good luck in love, good relationships, beautiful skin, and health, and is visited by many worshippers, especially women.
