Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha is a shrine of Suruga Province Ichinomiya located in Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
Sengen Taisha is the head shrine of Sengen shrines nationwide, and is revered as the god of Mt. Fuji.

The enshrined deity of Sengen Taisha is Konohana no Sakuyabime no Mikoto. In Japanese mythology, Konohana no Sakuyabime no Mikoto is the grandson of Amaterasu Omikami and is revered as the god of fire.

Sengen Taisha Shrine has a long history, and during the Heian period, it flourished as a center of Mt. Fuji worship and was visited by many worshipers.

The grounds of Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine include the main shrine, worship hall, kagura hall, and shrine garden. The main shrine was donated by Lord Tokugawa Ieyasu, and has a unique shrine architectural style called Sengen-zukuri, and is designated as a national important cultural property.

The south front of the parking lot is an entrance exclusively for buses, so regular cars will be on the north side.
