Nakamitsu Shoten Ushimado Main Branch was founded in 1951 and has been making creative fish cakes for over 70 years, including "Colorful Ageten" made with fresh fish from the Setouchi Sea and vegetables from Ushimado. There are about 20 kinds of fried kamaboko lined up in the store, and you can enjoy original dishes that you won't find at other stores, such as squid ink cheese tempura and yam seaweed rolls.

The kamaboko is made using the traditional method of kneading the ingredients in a stone mill, which brings out the original texture and flavor of the ingredients. You can buy freshly fried kamaboko as is at the direct sales store attached to the factory, and they can also be packed with ice packs, making them perfect as souvenirs.

We recommend enjoying the fried kamaboko you took out on the coast overlooking the Setouchi Sea.
