The Miyajima Service Area (downbound) is located on the downbound side of the Sanyo Expressway and offers a view overlooking Miyajima.
From the Miyajima Service Area, you can see the entire Miyajima in the distance, and use the free telescopes to view the torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine.

If you don't have enough time to visit Miyajima but still want to see it even a little bit, this service area is recommended.

Although the SA area itself is a bit old, there are facilities such as Starbucks and a park space for resting.
