This is a library that collects and preserves all publications published in Japan. It is said that the library has over 40 million books.

Anyone over the age of 18 can use it regardless of nationality.
Bags cannot be brought into the building and must be kept in lockers. You may bring your own laptop, etc. Some seats have electricity.

For lending, you must apply for the membership system by mail, and there are quite strict rules.

There is also a restaurant and coffee room within the building.
