Haruna Shrine is a historic shrine founded in 586, located deep in the mountains of Mt. Haruna in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture. It is popular as a power spot.

The main deities enshrined are the god of fire, the god of fire, and the god of earth, Haniyama Himekami. Other deities that are enshrined include Water God, Takashi-kami, Yami-kami, Oyamazumi-kami, Omononushi-kami, and Konohana-Saya-hime-kami.

This shrine is dedicated to the god of Mt. Haruna, and boasts a history of over 1,400 years. Nowadays, it is a power spot and is crowded with people from young people to the elderly.

Furthermore, as you head towards the summit of Mt. Haruna, you will find tourist spots such as Lake Haruna.
