Ichinokurasawa is a valley located at the eastern foot of Mt. Tanigawa in Minakami Town, Gunma Prefecture. It is counted as one of Japan's three major rocky areas, and is an impressive scenic spot with cliffs as high as 300 meters.

Ichinokurasawa is known as a sacred place for mountaineering and rock climbing, and is visited by many mountaineers and climbers. There are also many people who enjoy hiking and trekking, allowing you to fully enjoy nature in all four seasons.

Private cars are prohibited from the Tanigawadake Ropeway.
