Nogikan is located in the Zentsuji Garrison of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, and was built as the division headquarters on October 1, 1901, when the former Army's 11th Division was organized to cover the entire Shikoku region.

Materials from the time, such as General Nogi during the Russo-Japanese War, are on display.

There are some tanks on display outside and you can touch and see them.
