Shiwagara Falls in Shinonsen Town, Hyogo Prefecture, is a mysterious waterfall that flows from deep inside a cave. It is a spectacular power spot that is truly worthy of being called a hidden place.
Deep in the mountains of Shinonsen Town, Hyogo Prefecture, and hidden away in the rich nature of the Tajima region, Shiwagara Falls is a very unusual waterfall that flows from the back of a cave, as its name suggests. The sight of light shining through a hole in the ceiling of the cave and pouring into the pool of the waterfall is as if wrapped in a mysterious veil, and is overwhelming to see. The unique shape and the surrounding moss-covered rocks make it worthy of being called a "hidden place," and once you see it, you will be moved in an unforgettable way.

You can drive a little way into the mountains or walk for about 30 minutes from the entrance.
You will need to walk along unpaved mountain paths, cross streams, and be careful of your footing. It is not easy to access, but the excitement when you reach it is all the more impressive.
You will have to walk through streams near the destination, so it is a good idea to bring water shoes or boots.
It is better to wear clothes that are suitable for mountain climbing, rather than light clothing.
