Jorokuji is a temple of the Soto sect located in Jorokucho, Tokushima City, Tokushima Prefecture.
Built in the late 600s, it is the oldest temple in Tokushima Prefecture.

Jorokuji is home to many cultural properties, including the wooden seated statue of Holy Kanzeon Bodhisattva, which is designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan. In addition, within the precincts of Joroku-ji Temple, there are natural scenic spots such as Joroku Falls, which has been designated as a national scenic spot, and Joroku Pine, which has been designated as a national natural monument. There are many.

It is also a famous spot for autumn leaves.
